About account deletion

This page explains how users of the Safeguard Securities mobile app and client portal can request closure of their account or delete their sign-in profile and associated app data.

Category What happens
Deleted with your request Firebase Authentication sign-in, client profile (name, email, phone, address), app wallet/watchlist records, and portfolio holdings stored for your user ID in our app database.
May be retained Brokerage records, tax forms, trade confirmations, AML/KYC files, and communications required by SEC Rule 17a-4 and FINRA (typically at least six years after account closure). These are not stored solely in the mobile app database.
Processing time Immediate deletion removes app sign-in and app-stored data right away. A closure request is reviewed by our team within 30 days. Email privacy@safeguardsecurities.us for status updates.

To submit a deletion request or delete your app account, sign in with the same email and password you use in the app.

You can also email privacy@safeguardsecurities.us from your registered email with the subject line “Account deletion request”.

Request account closure

Use this if you want our team to close your brokerage relationship and remove app access. Your sign-in remains active until we complete the review.


Delete app account immediately

This permanently deletes your Firebase sign-in and app data (profile, wallet, watchlist, and holdings). You will not be able to sign in again with the same credentials unless you register a new account.
