What is a typical brokerage fee?

Safeguard Securities maintains a transparent, competitive fee structure designed for active traders and institutional investors. Our commissions vary by asset class and account type, with no hidden charges or surprise fees.

COMMISSION SCHEDULE

U.S. Equities & ETFs: Starting from $0.005 per share for institutional accounts, with a minimum of $1.00 per order. Standard brokerage accounts pay $4.95 per trade for the first 100 trades per quarter, with volume discounts available.

Options: $0.65 per contract plus a $4.95 base commission. Multi-leg strategies are charged as a single commission event.

Fixed Income (Bonds): Commission varies by bond type and order size. Treasury securities are available with no markup; corporate and municipal bonds carry a transparent spread disclosed at the time of order entry.

Futures & CFDs: Starting from $0.50 per contract per side for standard futures contracts. Micro futures are available at reduced rates.

ACCOUNT FEES

There are no annual account maintenance fees, no inactivity fees, and no fees for electronic statements or tax documents. Wire withdrawal fees of $25 (domestic) and $50 (international) apply. ACH withdrawals are free of charge.
